Thai star lifts trophy in Hong Kong

Thai star lifts trophy in Hong Kong Thailand’s Thidapa Suwannapura won the Hong Kong Ladies Open Amateur and Mid Amateur Golf Championships yesterday. Thaidapa fired a three-day total of 215 (73-71-71) at the Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club, seven shots better than Hong Kong’s Stephanie Ho (222). Another Thai Jaruporn Palakawong hit 226 for third place while compatriot Pavarisa Yongtuan came in fifth after scoring 228.
