MBK Center is an enormous 8 storey marble mall opened in 1985, it is one of the biggest shopping malls in Asia .
Shopping here, you will find a variety of negotiable products including clothes, cosmetics, leathered items, jewelry, electronics, information technology products, furniture, restaurants, supermarket, theaters. and a 4- storey department store the name is Tokyu.
The mall is situated in the heart of Bangkok and is the beginning of the shopping centers laid along Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok's main shopping street, here is always the first point of the shoppers'journey.
Nowadays, MBK Center daily supports 105,000 customers including 30,000 tourists from all around the world. It is such a large number that MBK Center is considered to be one of the most visited malls in Thailand and is a one- stop shopping center which you really shouldn't miss.
You can get there by Sky Train: From the Silom Line, take it to National Stadium Station. The station is connected by a footbridge to Tokyo Department Store. From there, you can directly access MBK Center.

Posted by Umfe, 31 December, 2007I go visit Bangkok atleast twice a year and whenever I am in the city, I literally shop till I drop at MBK Center. The big mall appeals to everyone since you can practically send a day here without getting bored. If you are not particularly a shopaholic, you can enjoy the entertainment area instead.
