Lumpini Park is a very popular oasis, named after Buddha's birthplace. This park is located in the heart of Bangkok, at the junction of Rama IV and Ratchadamri roads. This park was built in1941.

Monument of King Rama was constructed in front of the park. Located in a sylvan sanctuary, the park seeks to refresh your mind. This park is situated far from the crowd and noise of the city.

The best time to visit is just after sunrise, when hordes of fitness fanatics can be spotted jogging, doing aerobics, practicing tai chi, yoga or even ballroom dancing!

The park caters to the needs of everyone. There are two large lakes which offer paddle boats.

There are jogging trails and even a couple of "muscle beach" areas where you can lift weights. This park offers you some games which stimulate your mind.
